In case you’re new to MVS, let me introduce you to the common theme of this here blog: comfort and style. I think looking your best is important because it does evoke positive emotions – confidence, joy, etc. But I don’t think you should ever have to sacrifice comfort for style. I mean why bother when you can have both?

Case in point: SAS Shoes.

If you’ve not heard of them, they’re basically the business I’d build if I had the money to build a business, lol. They focus on creating shoes that exhibit quality, comfort and style – the 3 things I always encourage people to consider when making any wardrobe purchase. Especially shoes! 

I mean, think about it. Most of us wear shoes for at least 8 hours a day – at least. And every cause has an effect. Have you ever thought about the effect shoes could actually have on you? Totally not trying to scare you, but I think it’s important to note a few because knowledge is power. Uncomfortable, ill fitting shoes could cause:

1. Athletes foot
2. Bunions
3. Corns
4. Joint pain
5. Knee pain

Again, that’s just a few. How well did you score? I’ve already experienced 4 out of 5 of these – and I’m only 32! Which is why I was super excited to learn about SAS Shoes, and even more thrilled when they offered to send me a pair of their comfortable ankle boots to try (the Delaney to be exact).

As soon as they came in the mail I put them on, and I left them on all day. Then I wore them the day after, a Saturday filled with running errands, strolling through the park, lots of things that involved walking and hard surfaces. You guys, I swear to you…after all was said and done my feet didn’t even hurt! Normally a day of errands for me ends with pain in the arches of my feet as well as my knees. Other than basic fatigue from legit running around all day, I was fine.

Honestly, I thought that I had been picking out the most comfortable shoes on the market. But so far these ones take the cake. I will say, they do come at a bit higher price point than most of the shoes I buy and chat about. But I do feel they’re well worth it. Especially since the Delaney style specifically is so versatile – “chelsea boots” like these can be worn a gazillion ways. So if you’re looking to invest in a pair of comfortable ankle boots this season, I can say with confidence that I think you’d love these!
