1. Family Portrait

Chances are, she’s had booking a family photo session on her to-do list and hasn’t gotten around to it – such is mom life! So make the call for her and get the date on the calendar. Just be sure you give her plenty of a heads up. You know she’s going to want to find the perfect outfits for everyone!

2. DNA Ancestry Kit

A DNA testing kit will allow mom to discover her heritage and connect with her roots. But it will also give her easy access to her genetic information! This information can be useful knowledge for health considerations.

3. Subscription Box

Sign her up for a monthly subscription box tailored to her interests! This is a unique gift idea that will ensure she’s taking time out of her busy schedule to practice self care. Some ideas include:

4. Spa Day Gift Certificate

Treat your mom to a relaxing day at the spa complete with massages, facials, manicures, pedicures, and pampering. You can even invite her best friend! This is something she’d surely enjoy, but would likely never do for herself.

This is definitely one of my favorite things to be gifted!! And it’ll allow you to support a local business, too.

5. Coffee Gift Box

Etsy has a ton of cute coffee gift boxes made by small business owners, or you could put something together yourself. If you want to create a DIY mug gift, you could use mom’s favorite coffee beans from a local coffee shop, a new mug, and some of her favorite treats.

6. Cozy Sheet Set

Great quality sleep is a necessity, but for moms it often feels like a luxury. A nice set of bed sheets can enhance the experience providing better comfort, relaxation, and sleep quality. This is one of those practical gift ideas that keeps on giving – night after night, year after year!

Surprisingly, there are a ton of affordable, well-rated sheet sets on Amazon (like these sheets). So this is an awesome gift that can be budget friendly, too.

7. Silk Pillowcases

\If you can’t swing a full sheet set for mom, consider silk pillowcases. These are an affordable (under $40!) luxury that offer some offer benefits!

Because they’re so gentle on the skin, they’re said to reduce the risks of wrinkles. Silk is also hypoallergenic, which makes it great for those with sensitive skin. Additionally, it helps regulate body temperature for those who sleep hot.

At the end of the day, silk pillowcases allow mom to relax and get better sleep.

8. Aromatherapy Diffuser

Aromatherapy is said to be great for relieving stress, improving sleep quality, purifying air, and even enhancing mood. Gifting mom an essential oil diffuser is an easy way to encourage her to practice self care.

9. Customized Photo Album

This is a great idea for moms who love to document memories, but don’t have a lot of time to do so. Compile a photo album filled with pictures of your mom – pictures of the two of you as well as her and other close family members. This is one of those affordable, useful gifts that she will cherish for a lifetime!

FYI: You can do this super easily and affordably with a service like Shutterfly.

10. Personalized Name Necklace

Gift Mom a necklace featuring her name or the names of her children. There are so many great, affordable options on Etsy. I’d opt for a classic gold or silver necklace that can be an everyday staple, making daily accessorizing easy and meaningful.

11. Charity Donation

This is a great gift idea for moms who have everything, or at least seem to! Make a donation to Mom’s favorite charity or cause in her honor. It’s a meaningful gesture that’s a total win/win for all.

12. Instant Pot

Simplify mom’s meal prep with a versatile Instant Pot that can cook everything from soups to desserts in a fraction of the time. To take it a step further, you can find some Instant pot recipes on Pinterest you think she’d like and print them out for her. It’ll save her additional time and energy!

13. Robot Vacuum Cleaner

One of the hardest things for me to keep up with is cleaning the floors! If the mom you’re shopping for is in the same boat, get her a robotic vacuum cleaner. It’ll help her maintain the floors without having to lift a finger.

14. Prepared Meals

This is probably the most practical busy mom gifts on the list. It’s amazing for moms like me who are in charge of cooking for their household. You can buy prepared meals, or a gift card for them, from a meal plan service. There are so many great options these days! We love Clean Eatz, but I’ve also heard great things about  the Factor meal delivery service. Either way you’d be giving mom some time and energy back, which can be a total game changer – especially during super busy weeks!

PS: This is a good idea for new moms, too. It’ll make her life so much easier inside their newborn bubble when they’re running on just a few hours of sleep here and there.

15. Portable Charger

Among the practical gifts you can give a mom is a portable charger. It’ll keep her gadgets powered, whether she’s waiting in the lobby at gymnastics practices or sitting in the stands at a baseball game.

16. Audible Subscription

Here’s an idea for a busy mom who loves to read, but rarely has time! With an Audible Subscription she’ll be able to download and listen to books while on the go – in the car, at a volleyball tournament, etc.

17. Spill-Proof Coffee Mug

This is a great gift idea for a mom with young kids! Save her the hassle of cleaning up spills and drinking cold coffee with a spill-proof coffee mug like this one. I have one and absolutely love it because I can drink my coffee around my littles without having to worry about them knocking it over or burning themselves.

18. Car Organizer

As a busy mom, keeping things like diapers, wipes, paper towels, and reusable shopping bags in my car is so helpful. It takes the burden of remembering these things off of my mind!

To contain all of these items, I use this car organizer. It keeps my car neat, holds my essentials, and it comes with a collapsible cooler which is perfect for trips to the grocery store.

19. Customized Cookbook

Take a peek at mom’s Pinterest page and/or bookmarked recipes and print her favorites out to create a personalized cookbook (you can make these on Shutterfly, too). It’s something she’s probably been meaning to do, and a gift she can use for years to come.

PS: If she doesn’t have any digital recipes saved, ask friends and family members for her favorites from their collections and print those instead!

20. Blow Dryer Brush

A blow drier brush is a one-step hair dryer that dries and styles at the same time, saving a ton of time and energy! My favorite is this blow dry styler by T3. It comes with two attachments for two different looks.

21. Cleaning Service Gift Certificate

Give mom the gift of a clean home with a gift certificate for professional cleaning services. We hired someone right before the birth of our second child and it has been such a huge weight off of my shoulders! She doesn’t even do our whole house, just a few high-traffic areas that I have trouble keeping up with, and it’s been beyond helpful.

That said, I can say from experience that this is one of those gift options mom will genuinely appreciate and benefit from. Also, it’s another opportunity to support a small business owner in your area.

22. Online Fitness Classes

I’ve always appreciated the convenience of online fitness classes, but I do even more now that I’m a mom. If the mom(s) in your life wants to remain healthy and active, but feel like they’re too busy to do so, an online fitness class subscription is a great gift idea. This way they can work out from the comfort of their own home around their own schedule.

Personally, I love Peloton and the SWEAT app. But there are so many fantastic options!

23. Home Workout Equipment

If you can’t swing the expense of online fitness classes, you can still support her fitness goals with home workout equipment like resistance bands, a set of dumbbells, a yoga mat, etc. Amazon has so many great, affordable options!

24. Pregnancy Pillow

A pregnancy pillow is the perfect Mother’s Day gift for a mom-to-be! It’ll help her get comfortable when she can no longer sleep on her stomach or back. I used and loved this Amazon pregnancy pillow for both of my kids!

25. Postpartum Care Kit

This is another great idea for a new mamas! Put together a kit filled with essentials like soothing nipple cream, herbal baths, and cozy pajamas to help her recover after childbirth. This is likely something she didn’t get at her baby shower, but will truly need and appreciate upon delivery. It’s one less thing for her to think/worry about, too!

FYI: They do sell curated postpartum care kits to make your life a little easier.

26. Magnetic Refrigerator Dry-Erase Boards

Acrylic, magnetic dry erase boards give busy moms a place to brain dump – random notes, grocery lists, menus, etc. And they don’t add any additional clutter to countertops the way notepads and post it notes do.

27. Phone Tripod

A phone tripod helps mom take pics of the whole family – with her in them! Most come with a bluetooth remote shutter, but she could always set her phone timer to get the shot, too.

I own and love this phone tripod and it’s under $30!

28. Photo Printing

This is the right gift for a mom who has a million photos on their phone and/or camera, but never seems to get around to printing them (it’s me, hi!). Encourage her to at least print some of her favorites by gifting her an Mpix gift card or even an at-home photo printer! There are some pretty cool printers these days that allow you to print directly from your phone – how easy is that?

29. Travel-Sized Beauty Products

I love having my favorite beauty products in miniature sizes for travel, but I hate spending money on them. I know a lot of my mom friends feel the same, making this one of those unique mother’s day gifts that would be much appreciated.

30. Air Fryer

You’d think that everyone has an air fryer these days with how easy they make mealtime, but I actually still know quite a few people who don’t. If the mom(s) you’re buying for still don’t, do them a solid and make the purchase. It can save them so much time and energy, from cooking to clean up.

We have the Ninja Foodi 8-Quart air fryer and LOVE it. You can cook two things at once (like a protein and veggies) and match cook them so they finish at the same time.

So which one of these gifts to make life easier for mom stuck out to you?
