How to Style a T Shirt – 7 Ways, 9 Pieces

Basic T Shirt + Black Denim Mini Skirt
With 90s style trending, denim mini skirts are once again considered full on fashionable! I got this one from Express, and I absolutely love the fit. It’s short, but it’s not too short. And I love that it’s a color other than blue – it’s extra edgy and unexpected!

Basic T Shirt + Black Denim Mini Skirt + Boyfriend Blazer
This look is the exact one from above, except I threw on a white boyfriend blazer and swapped out my bag. I think the clutch makes the blazer look extra chic. This is the perfect date night outfit, but I’d make a great brunch outfit, too.

Basic T Shirt + Black Denim Mini Skirt + Faux Leather Jacket
If you’re into “cute and comfy”, this casual denim skirt outfit is perfect for you! The faux leather jacket is optional, but the snakeskin platform sneakers are a must [here’s a budget friendly version]. You guys, I’ve had these on repeat for months now. They just make every simple outfit so much more fun!

Basic T Shirt + Black Jeans + Snakeskin Platform Sneakers
For this look I swapped out the denim mini skirt for some black jeans and threw on a denim jacket. Once again, I kept it comfy with the snakeskin platform sneakers. I’d wear this to run errands, for a casual outing, or for a mid-week dinner with friends!

Basic T Shirt + Blue Jeans + Boyfriend Blazer
I had to bring the blazer [other colors are available, FYI] back because this is one of my favorite pieces I’ve purchased this season. I’ve worn it with jeans, skirts, and even a romper! Anyways, this look is inspired by a casual Friday at the office. The strappy black sandals make it appropriate for happy hour, too. 😉

Basic T Shirt + Black Jeans + Knotted Headband
Sometimes all you need is a single accessory to sass up a look. I got this knotted headband last year and have worn it at least a hundred times. If you want to put together a similar look, I recommend a headband with some sort of pattern to provide that extra little pop.

Basic T Shirt + Black Jeans + Black Strappy Heels
I didn’t mean to look like Sandy from Grease for this one, lol, but I don’t hate it! All black with a pop of color – any color – always looks so put together. And the best part is that it takes such little time and effort!
PS: I have to share how much I love these black strappy heels. It took me a year to find them, but I’m so glad I did! They’re beyond comfortable, good quality, and under $60! They come in a bunch of other colors, too – tan, red, etc. so if you want a similar style, but don’t need black, check them out right here!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading. I hope to see you again soon – don’t be a stranger!!
