Is it me, or does every beauty product seem to run out at the exact same time? Not just the same month or week, like the same day, lol! This just happened to a few months ago, so I took it as an opportunity to switch things up. And boy did I make some fun discoveries!! Here are the products I can credit for the easy makeup looks I’ve been rocking lately.
My Easy Makeup Looks
The 6 beauty products I’ve been loving as of late!
SHOP THE POST
1. MARC JACOBS BEAUTY Enamored Hydrating Lip Gloss Stick
You guys, this stuff is so good!! If your lips need moisture, but you crave a pretty pop of color, you have to check this out. I bought the color “Sweet Escape”, available at Sephora and Nieman Marcus. But there are several gorgeous colors in this collection if you’re not feeling that brighter pink hue.
2. MAC Cosmetics Shape + Shadow Brow Tint
Ever since I started using this I’ve been asked almost daily if I got my eyebrows microbladed. Nope, sure haven’t!!
On one side of the stick you have a brow powder, which I use to lightly shape my brow. On the other side, there’s a thin brush that allows you to fill in your brow with brush-like strokes. The result is a well-shaped, natural looking brow! The key is to go slow the first few times you use it, just until you get the hang of it. You’ll also want to buy a spoolie to help blend everything together.

3. Tarte Shape Tape Concealer
Believe the hype! This is the best concealer I’ve ever used! The coverage is great, it blends well, and a little goes a long way! I have one color to cover imperfections and another that’s a few shades lighter to brighten up my under eye! I got my Shape Tape from Ulta.
4. Diorshow Blackout Mascara
I know, I know, not too long ago I posted about the best drugstore mascara I had ever used! And for a while, I was using it. But I got a sample of the Diorshow Blackout Mascara in a gift set and was immediately obsessed with it. So, for now, that’s what I’m using daily! Here’s the link to shop.
5. Urban Decay Anti-Aging Eyeshadow Primer Potion
This primer had me at anti-aging. It helps my eyeshadow stay put, even on my long days, helping me look alive even when I don’t feel like it!! LOL And I’ll throw money at anything that almost anything created to preserve youth. 😉
6. Urban Decay Eyeshadow
Last, but certainly not least, the secret to all of my easy makeup looks is this! I have multiple Urban decay palettes and single shadows and they are AMAZING. I’ve been using them for 15 years – no joke! Since the formula’s highly pigmented, you just need a couple of dabs to achieve full coverage. You can use one color all over, or do one color in the crease and one on the lid. But it’s just so easy to apply and they have so many gorgeous colors. My most recent purchase is the shade “Diamond Dog“.
[If you need a great eyeshadow brush cleaner, this is where I wrote about my favorite of all time!].
So there you have it! Simple makeup looks can be achieved, so long as you have a few solid tools in your toolbelt.
