6 Super Useful Hostess Gifts Under $50

The holiday season is right around the corner, and with all of the anticipated shipping delays now is the time to start shopping. Yes, even for those hostess gifts!

In my opinion, the best hostess gifts are those that are useful. More specifically, those that can be consumed.

While items like oven mitts, hand towels, and drinkware are nice, you really just don’t know how many of those items the recipient already has – or how many more they actually want.

On the flip side, consumables create more of an experience; An opportunity to try something new. And they’re less likely to collect dust!

That said, here are 6 useful hostess gift ideas under $50 to consider this holiday season…

Hostess Gifts Under $50

BBQ Sauce and Rub Grilling Gift Set – $35

This hostess gift doesn’t require anyone to be a barbecue pro. In fact, it’s almost dummy proof! It comes with a few different rubs and a Sweet Onion Applewood Sauce that’s sure to make anyone look like a pro!

Flavored Olive Oil Gift Set – $39

I know it might sound silly, but flavored olive oil is one of my absolute favorite gifts to receive. They make simple foods – like scrambled eggs and roasted vegetables – extra tasty. And with little effort! They’re honestly just really fun to experiment with.

Fortnum & Mason Tea Gift Set – $45

The Fortnum & Mason store was one of my favorite London attractions! I actually ended up buying a tea gift set just like this one for my mom while I was there, and she loved it. So when I saw it on the Williams Sonoma website I knew I had to include it in this post. It comes with 6 different flavored teas, making it the perfect hostess gift for a tea lover.

Williams Sonoma Flavored Pancake and Waffle Mix – $15

Every holiday season I pick up a different pancake and waffle mix from Williams Sonoma to enjoy with my family. They’re so easy to throw together and taste like they were whipped up at a fancy restaurant. And for only $15, they make a super cheap but delicious hostess gift.

Pizza Making Kit – $32

This hostess gift would make for a great at home date night or family activity. The recipient just has to snag their favorite toppings!

Gourmet Popcorn Gift Set – $29

And last, but not least, we have this gourmet popcorn gift set that’s perfect for a movie night. It comes with popcorn grown in Indiana’s Amish country, canola oil, and ballpark-style popcorn sale.
